Our Story
Corvessa started in 2024 with a straightforward idea: make quality natural stone lighting more accessible. We noticed that alabaster fixtures — which produce a distinctly warm, soft light — were mostly available through high-end showrooms at steep markups. We set out to offer the same quality at more reasonable prices by working directly with manufacturers.
Our founder has a background in the lighting industry and spent time visiting workshops and quarries to establish direct supply relationships. This hands-on approach lets us maintain quality control while keeping costs down.
How We Work
We source fixtures from established workshops that specialize in stone and crystal lighting. Rather than maintaining large warehouses, most of our pieces are made to order, which means less waste and more flexibility for customers who need specific sizes or finishes.
Our team is small and based in Fort Collins, Colorado. We handle customer inquiries, order coordination, and quality checks ourselves. If something goes wrong with an order, you're talking to someone who can actually fix it.
What We've Learned
In our first year, we've shipped fixtures to homes, restaurants, and hotels across the United States. The most common feedback we get is about the difference natural stone makes compared to glass — the light is warmer and softer, and the material ages well. We've also learned that most customers appreciate honest guidance over sales pitches, so that's how we operate.
